Jancis Robinson
"Organic. Soils are marl/calcareous/sandstone. TA 7.7 g/l, RS 4.5 g/l.
More grapefruit than lemon here, deeply aromatic, with notes of clementine. Vibrant and inviting. Like the straight Riesling, this is intense and powerful but very precise thanks to the high acidity. Extremely pure and still so primary and youthful but with the quality of fruit to suggest it will age well and become more complex. As well as all that fruit, there’s a fine mineral quality. Powerful and long, with the roundness on the palate that suggests some big oak influence as well as a little bit of residual sugar but I can’t find any information on their website about ageing. 17/20 points.(JH)"
