Vinous Reverie Notes
The Steingrubler Grands Crus are wines for long aging. They are rich in aromas, with a solid body and a very virile structure. Tasting Notes: This wine is characterized by a salinity and minerality typical of the Grand Cru Steingrubler terroir, a nice roundness counterbalanced by a nice acidity, and scents of undergrowth that will go perfectly with a nice pan-fried mushrooms. Food pairings: It will go with finesse with foie gras, fish in sauce, white meats such as capon or guinea fowl, roasts and offal (liver, kidneys), authentic, fatty and powerful cheeses such as Comte, Beaufort, Gruyere.
