"The 2020 Valpolicella Classico Superiore La Roverina is spicy and floral, with a whiff of sour tangerine that leads to notes of white pepper, blackberries and violet. This comes across as rich but also incredibly juicy, cascading purple-toned flowers and wild berry fruits across a saline-mineral core. It lingers long, yet leaves the palate incredibly fresh, as hints of violette pastille and licorice slowly fade. Gorgeous."

Approximately 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 5% Molinara and 5% Oseleta, a native variety from a single vineyard in the La Roverina area (alluvial soil, particularly well-draining and rich in mineral components) and about 20-year-old vines. La Roverina ages in large barrels for ten to twelve months. Tasting Notes: Lovely aromas of pressed flowers, juicy wild berries, and spices. Smooth tannins.
