"The 2018 Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling trocken Bömer is very clear and fine on the coolish, fresh and elegant nose. Round and juicy, this is a very elegant, refined and persistently salty Riesling with a long, intense and mineral finish. This is exceptional quality with so much finesse and terroir expression. 12.5% alcohol. Tasted at the domain in September 2020."

Zeltinger Schlossberg, a very warm parcel just behind the village (the stone houses radiate heat back in the evening) which is perfect for producing a rich and long finishing wines. Schlossberg is mineral to the MAX! A great Grand Cru site composed of medium-grained Devonian slate as topsoil with a deeper subsoil of decomposed slate mixed with loam.
