Tasting Notes: Chardonnay from Split Rail can lean more into the Meursault realm, with acid that is still quite pronounced for California, but with some nice tropical fruit, citrus and chamomile notes. Herr Vineyard, being a slightly warmer site, lends a deep richness to the wine, along with some vivid mineral tones. This wine is meant for food!
