Leflaive Family has been rooted in Puligny Montrachet since 1717 and began exporting to the United States in the early 1930’s. Olivier co-managed Domaine Leflaive with his uncle and cousin until mid-80s when he started his own business, focusing solely on quality - buying grapes and managing vineyards. Today, Maison Olivier Leflaive controls 50 acres of vineyards located in some of the best communes of Cote de Nuit and Cote de Beaune. The municipality of Pernand-Vergelesses is located at the northern end of the Cote de Beaune, on the western side of the famous Corton Hill, just north of the neighboring appellation of Savigny-les-Beaune and not far from the more famous Pommard and Volnay. Olivier Leflaive's version comes 1er Cru Fichots, all grown according to sustainable principles and exclusively hand-harvested fruit.
