"The 2019 Barbaresco Rio Sordo is ripe with red cherry, licorice, and pressed roses. Generous and balanced, it offers wonderful purity and a supple texture, as well as fine tannins and a long finish. It is elegant and rounded as it opens in the glass, revealing candied licorice and ripe red berries. This is an outstanding Barbaresco from Musso to drink over the next 15 or more years."
