"Manual harvest, complete destemming and long aging in vats (16 months), everything has been thought of to create a complex wine that will keep well. The nose, still discreet and youthful, is tinged with scents of fresh blackberry, adding a touch of black pepper when aerated. After a round attack, the supple and tasty palate reveals notes of stewed red fruits. Confusingly silky tannins accompany a very “garrigue” finish. We were close to falling in love."
Vinous Reverie Notes
Blend: 75% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 5% Mourvedre. Tasting Notes: Several outstanding vintages in Southern Rhone, have produced rich and ripe black fruit on the nose and loads of bright tannins and aromatic concentration on the palate. These are the hallmarks of a finely crafted Grenache varietal. It goes wonderfully with grilled meats and is superb with duck or other game birds as well as cheeses.
