Vinous Reverie Notes
From limestone and marls soils. The Premier Cru “Les Jardins” vineyard parcel is located on a south-east facing plateau in the commune of Montagny. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place in a mix of 70% stainless steel tanks and 30% French oak barrels (sourced from the Allier and Vosges forests). The wine matures on its fine lees for 8 to 10 months. Tasting Notes: Lovely clarity and brilliance on this pale lemon colored white, offering discreet notes of white blossoms, dried fruit, and stony mineral hints on the nose. After decanting, aromas of white fleshed fruits, sweet spice, and vanilla develop. The palate is supple and rounded, with a rich, textured mid-palate, and attractive flavors of grapefruit and yellow fruit. The finish is long and vibrant, with lingering minerality.
