Description
94 points Falstaff
"A strong oak accent along with Speculoos biscuits, gingerbread, black cherry confit and earthy notes show on the nose. This is a supple wine of loosely knit grainy tannin and a very sophisticated acidity; it's smooth and fleshy with the minerality taking hold on the finish."
Vinous Reverie Notes
Born in Paris to parents with a military tradition, Jean-Michel Guillon chose to settle in France after his past service in the Polynesian Islands. He started his wine-growing activity in 1980 with 2.3 ha of land. Today, the estate covers 15 ha spread over more than 20 appellations. Tasting Notes: The racy, intense and beautifully detailed medium weight flavors possess fine richness with just a bit more complexity to the persistent and again, slightly warm finale.
