"The 2019 Malbec Primeras Viñas Luján de Cuyo hails from a hundred-year-old vineyard in Mayor Drummond, Luján de Cuyo and was aged for up to 18 months in new oak. Purple with a garnet sheen, the pleasantly expressive aromas feature prune, white pepper and cedar. It’s creamy and broad in the mouth with polished but muscular tannins and a terse texture. A precisely executed Malbec from a classic terroir."

Comes from Mayor Drummond and Perdriel vineyards within Luján de Cuyo in Mendoza. Tasting Notes: Dark red color with violet hues. Red fruit and some menthol notes, coconut, vanilla and spices added by the oak. Mouth is velvety smooth. Unctuous mouth feel but not too rich. Juicy and prolonged. Lingering aftertaste. Food Pairing: Ideal to pair with roasted red meats such as rib eye or lamb.
