Winemaker: This wine is our standard-bearer and represents the maximum expression of volcanic wine from the Euganean Hills. Cru produced from our Monte Gemola vineyard, on trachytic soil. Typical Bordeaux blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, bottled only in the best years, it is a very long-lived wine of rare elegance. Grape composition: 70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc. Food Pairing: Beef steak or rack of lamb.
