Description
91 points Jasper Morris
Jancis Robinson
"Cask sample. Pale garnet. Slightly smudgy nose. Still quite chewy with fine tannins and marked but not excessive acidity. Needs time but should be a vigorous pleasurable drink eventually. 17/20 points."
Vinous Reverie Notes
Les Theurons consists of four vineyard parcels on the slope above the city of Beaune, at the dividing line between the lighter northern and the fuller southern Premiers Crus. Tasting Notes: Beaune Theurons is considered one of the finest Premiers Crus in the commune. Its aromatic bouquet, full body, fine structure and generous fruit culminate in a lingering finish. This wine will develop favorably in the bottle for 10 to 15 years. Food Pairing: Pairs well with delicate meat dishes and most cheeses.
