"The 2011Pouilly- Fuisse V1gnes Blanches has a sl ghtly taciturn, tightly coiled fume nose that is well-defined but needs coaxing from the glass. The palate is brimming over with citrus peel, Light apricot and peachy notes. This is one of Christophe and Sandrine's finest 2011s: very suave and sophisticated with lingering shaved ginger and lemongrass notes on the finish. Superb."

"Such an aromatic and expressive nose, so complex showing gorgeous development and signs of life - crisp green apple, beurre noisette, white flowers and oak spice. The palate has a satisfying oily texture with flavours of lemon zest, orange juice, peach and nectarine. It has fresh acidity and feels well made - round and smooth still, with some petrol/kerosene edges on the palate that come across as steely or mineral on the tongue. A characterful wine and great showcase for the ageing potential of these wines. Tasted from magnum. Drinking Window 2020 - 2024"
