Vinous Reverie Notes
The various sections of the vineyard are located, as the name suggests, above Les Pruliers Premier Cru. One village-level part is adjacent to the latter's southern half, the other on the far side of the D8 road. The Les Hauts Pruliers Premier Cru parcel directly borders Les Pruliers for 50 meters or so halfway along its eastern border. On a map it looks as if it should be considered as a continuation of Les Crots, a thin strip of which runs above Les Pruliers northern section. Tasting Notes: This lieu dit sits atop a limestone quarry, giving rise to structure that is tense, sharp, and linear. The aromatics are captivating.
