Vinous Reverie Notes
This is the part of Gigondas where the vineyards are in the high “saddle” that is on the other side of the Dentelle above the village. A very rocky terrain from the millions of years of rocks that have tumbled down into the vineyards from the two Dentelles on either side. The blend is 85% Grenache and 15% Syrah. Tasting Notes: Aromas include dark cherries, blackberries, boysenberries, and blueberries. Flavors include boysenberries, blackberries, dark cherries, and blueberries. There is a medium to full body, perfect balance and acidity, and a long medium to full finish with a hint of sweet tannins.
