Description
91 points James Suckling
"Pure and attractive aromas of nectarines, stones, green apples and lemon grass. Zesty and elegant on the palate with bright, zippy acidity that gives the palate a racy feel. Drink now."
Vinous Reverie Notes
Tenuta di Corte Giacobbe owns vineyards in the town of Ronca. They’re planted on two extinct volcanoes, Calvarina and Crocetta, which creates coveted dark soils that are rich in broken-down lava and tufa—dirt prized for producing some of the best wines in the region. Corte Giacobbe’s vines grow as high as 600 meters above sea level, which helps vines retain more bright, fresh flavors in their berries. Tasting Notes: Bright straw yellow with pale green highlights. The nose is multifaceted with fruity, floral aromas of ripe melon, orange, jasmine, chamomile, rosemary and hay. On the palate, the wine is harmonious with superb persistence and a crisp finish.
