Description

"Gorgeous quince, honeyed flowers, spice, and some classy, savory herb notes all emerge from the 2022 Crozes-Hermitage Vieilles Vignes Blanc, a round, supple, layered Crozes that has beautiful purity and precision while staying rich and textured."

"A delicious white with apples, grapefruit, lemon rind and baking spices on the nose. It’s medium-bodied with fresh acidity. It has a fruity and succulent character on the palate. Precise and poised with a flavorful, developing finish. Drink or hold."

"Plump and alluring, with a juicy mix of peach, chrysanthemum and pear notes gilded with salted green herbs and a hint of buttercream. Full-bodied, with wet stone minerality and a bitter spike of grapefruit pith nicely balancing the warmth and weight. Marsanne and Roussanne. Drink now through 2027. 300 cases made, 50 cases imported."
Vinous Reverie Notes
Tasting Notes: This Crozes Blanc radiates a great energy in addition to its density, lots of white peach, lilac, lavender and garrigues, a bit of warm smoke, melon and sweet lemon. The mouth is so supple and dense, so round and salty, that you think of limestone, but it is of course granite soil. It has a lot of grip and dense tannins and then so much salt is added. Strength without heaviness, athleticism without fat muscles, and yet the whole thing stands for minutes. Juicy and hedonistic. A great joy, difficult to spit out!
