"100% dry Barossa rosé wine as a base, Australian native botanicals. Ingredients include illwarra plum, rosella and strawberry gum – all totally foreign to me! RS 70 g/l.
Pale orangey pink – more orange than pink. Great intensity on the nose and yet not punchy. Remarkable elegance on the palate as well. Sweet, but not cloying. Layers and layers of flavour. I’ve never come across strawberry gum in my life, but there is something in this that tastes of wild strawberries, along with tarragon and lemon balm, cardamom and quince, white pepper and the finest skein of minty menthol coolness drawing the sweetness up into a clean finish. Absolutely stunning. The back label suggestion is to serve it with tonic water, slice of lemon and mint – duly tested and it is excellent with Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic water, especially if you want a drier drink, but it is superb by itself. Just keep it cold in the fridge and give it a squeeze of lime. VGV 18/20 points. (TC)"

Regal Rogue Wild Rose is led by tropical fruit and fruit spice notes, marrying a pale and dry Barossa Shiraz Rosé from the Adelaide Hills with native illawara plums, rosella and strawberry gum, and rhubarb and kina. Regal Rogue follows a natural production process with no wood interaction and finishes semi-dry with a lingering after-taste. Food Pairing: Strawberry, Raspberry, Passionfruit, Stone fruit, Mango.
