A plot of old vines is the basis for this ripe wine that is dense and layered. With its blend of the two Manseng and grapes and Petit Courbu, the wine is tangy, textured with baked pear and concentrated acidity. This is an impressive wine that is just ready to drink. Organic. Vinous Reverie Notes
Jurançon is a wine region in South West France in the foothills of the Pyrenees, around the commune of Jurançon.
Wine obtained from a blend of Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng and a small part of Courbu. The grapes, all indigenous to South-West France, come from 2 hectares of vineyards planted in the 1940s. Aging takes place in barrels where it remains in contact with the yeasts for a year. It then spends 6 months in steel tanks before being bottled. The nose expresses aromas of custard, aromatic herbs and citrus fruits that prepare a mouth with electrifying acidity.
Grapes: 50% Gros Manseng, 40% Petit Manseng, 10% Courbu.
Rich, ripe nose, notes of candied fruit, full mouth, very expressive, spicy, nice smooth structure, with toasted notes. A beautiful open wine, rich, very fat and balanced, ripe and complex.
