"The 2022 Terrasse comes from the estate, using indigenous yeast with 12 months in mostly 500-liter French oak barrels. The varieties complement each other nicely here, the Chenin in the driving seat: honeysuckle, orange pith, popcorn and light almond scents. The palate is vivacious on the entry, taut and linear, a "vertical" white Stellenbosch white with an edgy, waxy-textured sapid finish that beckons you back for another sip. Excellent."

46% Chenin Blanc, 20% Chardonnay, 14% Sauvignon Blanc, 10% Roussanne, 8% Viognier & 2% Marsanne. Sourced from terraced vineyards, which date back to 1971.Hand harvested. Each varietal is fermented separately with indigenous yeast in seasoned French oak barrels. Aged for 12 months on the lees. Bottling is carried out by hand with minimal fining and filtration. Sustainable. Tasting Notes: Inviting aroma with notes of spring flowers, ripe apricots and citrus, and a hint of fennel. The palate is soft and luscious, with lovely fresh acidity and an array of flavours: ripe apricot, peach and quince flavours complimented by richer more spicy savoury fruit. This follows into a lingering aftertaste with salty acidity.
