"An outstanding single-vineyard Riesling from Austria. Gaisberg is an important and historic Premier Cru (Erste Lage) vineyard, a cooler microclimate of steep terraces inflenced by an immensely complex array of metamorphic and crystalline rock formations, including plots on granite, marble, paragneiss, as well as calcerous loess and gravels. The result is a wine of dimension and delicacy, with developed ripeness layered by alluring minerality. A superb wine to decant now or cellar for some years. Get in quick, stocks are low!"
