"The 2014 Estate Reserve was sorted by hand, lightly crushed, fermented in stainless steel and matured in 300-liter French oak barrels. The outgoing, lively nose features plenty of red berry fruit mixed with mint and crushed violet. The palate is well balanced with fine-grained tannins; the mainly red fruit is pure and nicely integrated with the oak. It gradually builds in the mouth toward a saline finish and a slightly fishy aftertaste. This needs two or three years in bottle, but it should turn into a very fine Estate Reserve."
