Les Boutières is sandwiched between the premier crus of Pernand “Basses Vergelesses” and Aloxe-Corton’s Vercots and Guèrets premier Crus. Its uniquely situated at the crossroad of Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton and Savigny-Les-Beaune, and a short distance from the Grand Crus of Corton. Two unrelated vineyards share the same name, one in Aloxe-Corton and the other, because of its lower, presumably wet position (a small creek feeds out of it), is appellated as Bourgogne. Tasting Notes: Show a savory wild character that over time evolves from delicate red fruits and rose petals to mushrooms, hoisin and wet forest floor.
