Description
Jancis Robinson
"RS 20 g/l. Currently in conversion to organic certification. 45-year-old Chenin vines. Hand-picked. Spontaneous fermentation in small stainless-steel tanks. Total added sulphur dioxide 100 mg/l. No chaptalisation.
Such an unusual nose for a demi-sec. Dramatically exciting. A clatter and a crash of stones and gravel dust and quarries, a susurration of moss and matcha and herb dust. But this is just the veil, soft-whispered over the sweetness of dried apples and herb-honey-drenched pastry. This is wild, exciting, long, pulsating, persistent. Such a dry, fine finish, with a savoury element that reminds me a bit of rye bread with lime zest and sour cream. Seriously exciting! One of the demi-secs here that really got my heart beating. 17.5++/20 points. (TC)"
Vinous Reverie Notes
Tasting Notes: Vibrant yellow color lovely aromas of limestone and flint and straw green apple fruit held together by layers of fresh, crisp acidity still quite youthful but developing the complexity of age.
