"An interesting blend that includes Caladoc and the white Rolle, this rosé yields a bright, textured, fruity wine. Its forward red currant flavors dominate along with fresh acidity and light pepper. Drink now. Organic."
Vinous Reverie Notes
Blend: 60% Cinsault, 20% Syrah, 20% Rolle/Vermentino. It all started in the 1950s, in Vallon de La Cadeniere. First wine was made in 1973. Property has 59 hectares of vines, all in Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence. This estate is now completely organic. The Vallon d’Escale is from an emblematic plot: Located near an ancient Greco-Roman road, numerous remains have been found there showing that the plot was already in use more than 2000 years ago. Tasting Notes: Vallon d’Escale Rosé is a gastronomy-friendly wine with a pale dress and balanced, fleshy and structured palate. It is dominated by citrus aromas and pairs well with a variety of dishes. Food Pairing: Aperitif, tomato crumble, stuffed vegetables, grilled meat.
