Description
93 points Wine Enthusiast
"This Morgon blended with fruit from five different vineyards is deliciously dark and brooding. Deep purple to ruby in color, it has a nose of black plum, apricot, raspberry, strawberry and black cherry. Concentration on the midpalate carries additional notes of dried violet blossom and hay. This Beaujolais is worthy of its cru status and has youthful, juicy tannin that would benefit from waiting until 2024 to drink."

"Full bottle 1,343 g.
Blue fruit, smudgy kohl minerality, laurel leaf and this lovely soft, red, blurry juiciness. Caraway and cumin spice. Dark, loamy earth fragrance. Gently pulsing tannins. Sophisticated. 17/20 points. (TC)"
Vinous Reverie Notes
“Cinq Terres” is a blend of five different vineyards : the elegance of the Chollets, the fruit and roundness of the Brye, the powerful character of the Terrains Rouges, the lightness of the Aiguais, and the minerality of the Clachet. On granite, schist and iron oxides, Morgon is a powerful, spicy wine, with cherry and morello cherry aromas.
