"Brilliant ruby red with a radiant core. Opens the nose with noble leather nuances, ripe cherries, rose hips, also slightly after strawberry jam. Initially shows a lot of sweet enamel on the palate, with lots of handy tannins, appears slightly brittle in the finish, can and should still mature."

"Floral, hibiscus tea, oolong – that unique, sweet-fragrant-dark-leaf scent of Nebbiolo. Quite intense, ripe, red cherry fruit – almost sherbet-like in its intensity. Not sweet, but sweetly ripe. Cooked mushrooms, fresh raspberries, tamarind. Cello-like in the way it holds the purity of a single note through time, suspended; cello-like in the way that single note isn't single at all, but legion. 17.5/20 points. (TC)"
