Description
Vinous Reverie Notes
Xavier Durand took over the family business in 2009, which was four generations old. He now runs a 7.5 ha vineyard made up of vines from 35 to 80 years old in the communes of Ladoix, Aloxe-Corton, Comblanchien and Nuits-Saint-Georges, all in sustainable agriculture. Les Chaillots is located at the foot of the hill of Corton, this locality is partly classified as 1er cru, partly as a village. Tasting Notes: The color is a beautiful intense ruby. The nose harmoniously combines small red and black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry, raspberry) and fine vanilla notes. The palate, ample, round and fleshy, reveals a melted oak and silky tannins to perfection.
