Winery: Made from one of our favorite varieties, Pinot Noir. This grape makes a smooth and silky wine in the hands of our friend, Matthieu at Domaine Wassler. Fermented and aged in ancient 500 gallon oak foudres bought by his great grandfather over 100 years ago. This wine is just bright enough to make you want to get another glass! Tasting Notes: Deep ruby. Aromas of raspberry and redcurrant. Intense spice. Blackcurrant, cherry, chocolate. Light, soft tannins. Food Pairing: Grilled chicken, various poultry or porkchops in rich sauce. Awards and Accolades: Alsace Wine Competition, Colmar 2020: Gold Medal.
