"The 2021 Brut Kila Cava is a blend of 50% Xarel·lo, 25% Macabeu and 25% Parellada, sourced from Penedès. Aged for 24 months on fine lees, this bright yellow sparkling wine reveals aromas of lemon and lime, with layers of meringue and bakery scents. Dry and malic, the vibrant and ethereal palate lingers long with a malic core. This is a savory, crunchy Cava.

This bottling is made up of Xarel·lo, Macabeu, and Parellada from the following vineyards in the Penedès Cava DO: Can Castany, Can Prats, and Can Simon. The vines were planted between 1990 and 1998, upon beds of limestone soils with a sandy texture.The Macabeo is from Can Simón estate, Xarel•lo from Can Prats, in Sant Llorenç d’Hortons and Parellada from Can Castany, in Gelida. The wine is made Methode Champenoise; being gently pressed 50% extraction before fermentation occurs in small tanks. Secondary occurs in bottle and then wine ages for 18 months.
