90 points Wine Enthusiast
"Sprightly and fresh, this is a sweet-tart tangy Riesling that offers bold lemon and tangerine flavors against a backdrop of smoky earth and mineral tones. Zesty lime acidity and a hint of just-ripe peach linger on the finish. Delightful now but it should drink well through 2023."
"A fascinating fragrance combines the heady scent of flowering blackcurrant bush with the fresh herbaceous aroma of spontaneous fermentation. Gooseberries and grapefruit titillate the palate, their fresh expression further emphasised by herbal notes of green mint and lemongrass. I don’t think either trocken or feinherb were stated on the label, but the complexity of the flavour makes this kind of specification rather irrelevant. 17.5/20 points (MS)"

Factoid: The estate is named after Sankt Urban, the patron saint of German winemakers.
This is the third of St Urbans Hof's spectacular rieslings that we have brought in.
