"An oaky nose with vanilla and milk chocolate hints. Juicy cherry fruit shines through on the palate, with coffee notes on the long finish. Drink 2018-2021. (YK)" (5/2018)
"33-year-old vines on clay soil. Fermented in tank, malo in barriques. 12 months in second-use French oak. pH 3.58. Mid crimson. Lovely dusty, peppery dark-red fruit, fragrant with juicy cherry and raspberry on the palate. Surprisingly fresh and really lively. Tangy, cranberry finish. Super-drinkable with fine tannins and ready now but no hurry. There's a hint of oak sweetness on the finish but the fruit is the star. Drink 2018-2020. 16/20 points. (JH)" (6/2018)
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"The 2015 Saint George (the winery uses the English translation of Agiorgitiko on the label) was aged for 12 months in used French oak. It comes in with four grams of sugar, right about at the typical line for "fully dry," and 13.5% alcohol. Unlike the lower-level red for Skouras (the Zoe, in the April issue), this is a bit more serious and better structured. It's still a lighter-styled wine, fruit forward and vivid in red-fruit flavor, but here the freshness lifts the fruit, so it no longer seems candied. The structure is modest and the tannins are very ripe to the point where they do not matter. This is a great choice for an easygoing house pour or a picnic wine. It can easily be a summer red, too, drunk a little cooler than normal. Drink it young and fresh. It won't reward long aging." (MS) (6/2018)

"A creamy confection of sweet cherry fruit and licorice spice; for chile-rubbed grilled beef." (8/2018)
Vinous Reverie Notes
Variety: 100% Agiorgitiko. Fermentation: Fernented and macerated in stainless steel vats, aged in used French barriques for 12 months and a further 6 months in bottle. Tasting notes: The color is bright, deep morello cherry-red. The nose reveals aromas of blackberries, raspberries and ripe strawberries with just a touch of aniseed and spices such as clove and cinnamon. It is a medium-bodied wine with elegant structure, balanced acidity and very ripe, elegant tannins. The finish is moderately-long, dominated by red fruits and followed by sweet vanilla and black pepper.
