Soalheiro, Mineral Rosé Vinho Verde 2018
92 points Wine & Spirits
"This is the second vintage of this rosé from Soalheiro, a new wine Luís Cerdeira makes by blending Alvarinho with 30% Pinot Noir. It’s pale pink, with a lot of spritz, but once the CO2 dissipates, the wine is all fresh strawberries, deeper notes of sour cherries and red-apple skin, resolving to the creamy pear-like flavor of alvarinho in the end. It’s bright, delicious and heady, set for pork rillettes."
Country: Portugal. Grapes: Alvarinho and Pinot Noir.

Idlewild, The Flower Flora and Fauna Rose Mendocino 2018
91 points Vinous
"The 2018 Flora & Fauna Rosé is another distinctive wine in this range. Dried flowers, mint, sage and dried cherry are all laced together here. Tasting it nearly a year after release reveals a rosé with real textural and flavor complexity. I am not a huge fan of rosé, but this is an uncommonly delicious bottle. Drinking window: 2020 - 2022."
Country: United States. Grapes: Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto.

"A blend of 50% Cinsault, 40% Grenache and 10% Syrah, the 2017 Ventoux Terrasses Rose features lovely spice notes of ground cinnamon and clove dusted over strawberry and raspberry fruit. Plump and medium-bodied, this silky wine ends long, with lingering hints of citrus and spice."
