Vinous Reverie Notes
This is a blend of 41% Clairette, 32% Roussanne, and 27% Vermentino. Tasting Notes: Aromas include white flowers, honeysuckle, gardenia, jasmine, star fruit, mild grapefruit, and honeydew melon. Flavors include white peaches, honeydew melon, mild cantaloupe, juicy strawberries, kiwi, and hints of cherries and pink grapefruit. There seems to be a light body on the initial entry but which then builds across the palate into a full, refreshing, and saturated finish along with good balance and mild acidity. Food Pairing: would include shrimp, crab, clams, swordfish, branzino, red snapper, tuna, seafood pasta and salads, chicken, Asian chicken, pork, and vegetable dishes, seafood and chicken enchiladas, chicken suiza, pork verde, cream soups, onion soup, vegetable casseroles, green salads, salade nicoise, and mild, medium, and blue cheeses.
