"Love the aromas of plums, cherries and currants with hints of flowers and undertones of dried flowers. Full body, round and silky tannins and fresh and bright finish. A blend of sangiovese, merlot and cabernet sauvignon. Needs two or three years to come together, but already beautiful. From biodynamically grown grapes and vegan."

"Eloquent and harmonious, featuring black cherry, black currant, violet, vanilla and graphite aromas and flavors. A dusty cocoa note emerges on the extended finish. Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink now through 2030."
Vinous Reverie Notes
Harmony and simplicity are beautifully built around a supple core of fruit. Like the untamed nature of Maremma, Mongrana is lively and intense, a versatile companion to food and charming to drink on its own. Sangiovese (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (25%) and Merlot (25%). Mongrana is the quintessential expression of the colours, sights, and sounds of the Maremma region: fruity and intense, fresh and embracing, the wine takes its name – and its character – from that of the noble family of knights depicted by the Italian Renaissance poet Ludovico Ariosto in his epic masterpiece Orlando Furioso. The grapes are picked by hand and harvested based on their phenolic maturation, using small crates. In the cellar, they undergo fermentation in cement tanks. After malolactic fermentation, the wine undergoes élevage both in stainless steel and cement until it is blended to be bottled. No animal products or byproducts are used in the production of this wine, making it suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
