A wine that at least briefly gives me the feeling of looking at the azure blue waters of a Greek island is Oenops Apla. The wine is the creation of one of the most talented Greek winemakers, Nikos Karatzas. It combines the three typical Greek grape varieties Malagousia, Assyrtiko and Vidiano into a harmonious and refreshing white wine ... which beams you to the beach, at least for a brief moment.
The wine smells of apricots, vineyard peaches and ripe apples. On the palate it is lively and fresh with a subtle saltiness and a long finish.
