94 points Decanter
"A jewel, one of those wines you can drink with glorious abandon – or simply sit quietly to enjoy its subtle complexities. You can see your fingers holding the stem of the glass – Sangiovese, I am told, should never show up opaque, and is questionable if it does. But the wine is transparent also in that, in a single sip, you can sense the place, the much-loved vines, the classic galestro/albarese soil, the sun, the dappled shade on the well-cared-for canopy. Intelligent and delightful. Drinking Window 2021 - 2030"
"Greve in Chianti – Panzano. 100% Sangiovese.
Lustrous crimson. Soft perfumed nose with savoury hints. Racy raspberry fruit palate with coating tannins. Refreshing. 17/20 points. (WS)"
Vinous Reverie Notes
Pleasurable to drink upon release, but can also be aged for greater complexity (minimum 10 years). Deep, ruby red with hints of purple. Intense mountain herbs, aromas of cranberry, wild cherry and red plums, anise, spice, and orange peel. Fresh and fruity, medium-bodied, well balanced, with a nice structure, juicy acidity and a long finish.
