"Rich aromas of white truffle and oyster shell lead to a pure beam of glazed apricot on the palate of this well-cut sweetie. Bright and mouthwatering, with accents of candied ginger, cardamom, almond biscotti and salted caramel. Drink now through 2024. 330 cases made."
Vinous Reverie Notes
Most grapes intended for winemaking are harvested between August and September. The grapes destined to become Melizie are allowed to dry on the vine until the middle of December. By so doing, the honeyed, floral flavors of the Fiano grape become more fully developed and concentrated. This dessert wine is truly a special expression of the land. Tasting Notes: Intense yellow in color, aromas of apricot jam and candied fruits complement undertones of dried dates, figs, and honey. On the palate, this wine is viscous and mouth-filling with good acidity and unquestionable ageworthiness. Food Pairing: Pair this wine with sabayons, Chantilly cream, pinoli cookies, and tiramisu.
