"A delicately balsamic spiciness in the fragrance with strong notes of rock. The fruit is slightly tropical, slightly citric. The wine develops pressure on the palate, weaving substance and cultivated acidity into a full but not broad body. A lot of extract, very finely staged."
Vinous Reverie Notes
An elegant and juicy wine. As profound as the finely weathered slate soil on which it grew. The way Markus Molitor worked out the precision of this vintage is simply phenomenal and you've probably only seldom had it on your tongue. Typical nuances of Mirabelle plum, pear and nectarine. The fine fruit and the light body are supported by a well-balanced acidity. A light, juicy and mineral finish is typical for the Badstube.
