"Healthy, shaded crimson. Correct Piemontese nose with spine and nerve. But no obvious oak and only very light tannins. Not too sweet. Good acidity. Really fun and with lots of integrity. I may cool it slightly before serving. Convincing and long. 16.5/20 points."
Vinous Reverie Notes
Classic is a keyword in the Marcarini philosophy. Ideally poised between traditional and modern, the wines are characterized by both a voluptuous, embracing style and the superb longevity and blockbuster structure of Piedmont’s best. Tasting Notes: deep garnet in color with thick, warm reflections going on ruby. On the nose the bouquet is broad, characteristic, complex and very persistent. On the palate the wine is austere and warm flavor with remarkable robustness, balanced and harmonious turns sweet with a pleasant sapidity.
