94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"The 2019s feel more vibrant than the 2020s, and the 2019 Teira X is a good example of it. This is the white where he tries to take Treixadura to the limit of ripeness and moderate acidity and then compensate it with other varieties, 15% each Loureira, Albariño and Alvilla. The result is a cuvée with 12.9% alcohol, a pH of 3.24 and 6.9 grams of acidity (tartaric), very good freshness and acidity parameters. The wine comes through as very complete and deep, with a complex nose of herbs and white fruit and flowers and a lively palate with lovely balance. It was produced with grapes from the Miñoterra vineyard, which has very poor, degraded granite soils, and it shows in the texture. 4,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2020."
Vinous Reverie Notes
Teira X comes from the single vineyard Minoteira. It is the top vineyard of Manuel Formigo and boasts some of the oldest vines of Treixadura in the region. Treixadura, Loureira, Albarino and Albilla. Up-and-coming but tiny colleteiro in Beade village. A very precise winemaking style with little lees contact and an obsession for dividing the vineyard into lots prior to blending. Profound yet lively, nuanced and fresh.
