Vinous Reverie Notes
Jancis Robinson - Previous Vintage Review
"Smells like warm, fresh-baked apple pie. Throat-warming – a wine for cold autumn evenings and fireside moments (although it would be stunning with a rich pork roast and salty crackling). Just off dry (sec tendre) but beautifully balanced and with lovely gentle persistence. 17.5/20 points.(TC)"
Les Pechers is a demi-sec Chenin Blanc. During the harvest, the slightest bit of botrytis on the grapes lends depth and complex layers of fruit and savory tones to the finished wine. 17g residual sugar, 32ppm total SO2. Truly a classic wine.
