Description
91 points Decanter
“This has an attractive stone fruit, creamy and honeydew melon nose which follows through to the palate. Lovely texture with a nutty, bready note.”
90 points James Suckling
“Floral nose with oyster shells, fresh apricots and white pears. There is a twist of spice, too. A bone-dry, incisive palate, showing uncompromising acidity and some floral attractions. Mineral water-like purity here with a mouthwatering finish. An elegant expression of albarino. Vegan. Drink now.”
Jancis Robinson
“Fruit from Salnés subzone. Temperature-controlled fermentation. Six months in 500-litre French oak barrels. RS 2.6 g/l, TA 7.3 g/l.
Fabulously spicy nose. Fennel seed, cumin, green apricots. Long lines with quietly humming acidity. Perfect balance. Striated with some verticality. Tense. This is good. Really good. (TC).” 17++/20 points.
Vinous Reverie Notes
Lagar da Condesa is a white wine from the D.O Rías Baixes produced by the Lagar da Condesa. This is a single variety wine made with Albariño grapes, a common grape in Galician wines. Tasting Notes: Brilliant pale gold in color and copious apple and pear aromas infused with lemon. Outstanding fruit up front with a touch of honey beautifully focused with mineral notes. A rich, full wine with ripe citrus concentatration, dense and fleshy,
combine with very good acidity and long a long finish.
