"The 2017 Chablis Côte de Léchet 1er Cru is a bit compact in feel, but it more than makes up for that with its persistence and energy. Dried pear, spice, mint and crushed flowers are some of the many nuances that develop in the glass. Bright saline and white pepper accents add to a real feeling of vibrancy. Even with a bit of air, the Côte de Léchet remains one of the more inward of the 1er Crus in this range. I would give it time in bottle to see if it softens."

"Elegant and fine-boned, the 2017 Chablis 1er Cru Côte de Léchet confirms its strong showing last year, unfurling in the glass with notes of spring flowers, white currants and citrus oil. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, with a tensile core and a precise, mineral finish."
