91 points James Suckling
"A very vibrant, fresh nose with attractive peach and melon aromas, as well as fresh florals, leading to a palate that has pure, fleshy pear, peach and melon flavors. Drink now. Screw cap."
Jancis Robinson
"45% fermented in old French oak barriques, 55% in stainless steel. Hand-harvested fruit that's sustainably grown, but not necessarily by the Brajkovich family.
Light, fresh, with just the lightest whiff of fermentation aromas but lovely pure, bright fruit on the front palate. Best drunk young (Kumeu River's Aligoté?) but very well made with a fair amount of persistence, even if not much subtlety. Pure, crisp New Zealand fruit though. GV (good value)"
Vinous Reverie Notes Notes
Tasting Notes: The 2019 vintage was outstanding and has delivered a Village wine of greater complexity than usual. The weighty mid-palate shows peachy ripeness along with crisp acid minerality that gives the wine a refreshing cleansing quality. This wine is delightful as an aperitif, and even better to drink with fish and shellfish.
