90 points Tim Atkin
"This is the third vintage of Pinot Noir from Rüdger van Wyk, using fruit from Cape Town, Elgin and the Overberg. Sweet, perfumed and easy on the palate, it’s a graceful red with subtle whole bunch notes, good acidic balance and a core of cinnamon and summer pudding fruit. 2022-26."

"Rüdger Van Wyk's own label. A vineyard in Durbanville, 350 m asl, close to then ocean, plus some grapes from Overberg and Elgin, a real mix of soil types. 300-litre French oak barrels, 20% new, one punchdown a day.
A leafiness. Fragrant, shy. But so alive! Diaphanous texture, fruit, spice. This has a stained-glass-window translucency but it also has the rub of fine-ground cinnamon, the feel of old paper as you brush your thumb up the page. Goji and rosehip and rooibos. Incredibly delicate three-dimensional fruit; cobweb-like; a sip of this wine is like watching sunrise through a dew drop. VGV *very good value* 17/20 points. (TC)"
Vinous Reverie Notes
Grapes for the Pinot Noir are sourced from three differenct cool-climate vineyards in the Western Cape region. The Overberg region brings a very classic and elegant strawberry-fruit profile, while the vineyards in Elgin adds structure and depth. The grapes from Cape Town gives the final wine a very alluring perfume.
