Valdeorras is a DO created in 1945, on the eastern edge of Galicia, bordering Portugal. It is about 200km from the coast, with Atlantic and Continental climatic influences. This Godello is grown in vineyards on the slopes alone, facing south, on the right bank of the river Sil. 30 Hectares of vineyards, with shale and slate lands. Tasting Notes: Light straw yellow with green reflections. Quality and intensity of primary aromas, scents of green apple, waterpear, apricot, skin peach, camomila and fennel. Mineral and balsamic. Well-structures and slightly fatty texture. Dry and lively, smooth bitterness and slightly sweet. Long fruity aftertaste.
