90 points Vinous
"Ripe cherry, cassis and peppery spices on the fragrant nose, with a hint of pipe tobacco emerging slowly. Juicy and supple in texture, delivering good depth and vivacity to its bitter cherry and blackcurrant flavors. A suave vanilla note appears on the finish, which features velvety tannins and a touch of smokiness."
"70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc.
Plummy, rounded, black cherry, bitter herbal character – like Fernet-Branca liqueur. As with the other Bouchon wines, there is a very strong savoury dryness which makes the wine really refreshing. Very well made. 16.5/20 points. (RH)"
Vinous Reverie Notes
Bordeaux-style blend that speaks to the Bouchon family's roots in France. Unoaked and fresh. Tasting Notes: An unoaked Bordeaux blend with aromas of red fruit, blackberry, and blueberry. Palate has great structure with hints of minerality naturally given by the granite soils. Elegant and balanced with a satisfying finish.
