91 points Wine Enthusiast
Touches of yellow apple and sponge cake entice on the nose. The palate adds ripe, friendly and appetizing notes of yellow plum and lemon alongside creamy fizz set against a softly autolytic background. This presents a lovely union of fruit, freshness and development. Full of flavor, is has a dry, lemony finish.
90 points James Suckling
Salmon-orange color with aromas of raspberries, grapefruit, apples and honey, with an earthy touch. It’s crisp, dry and savory, with crushed-stone minerality at the end.

Winemaker Notes:
Gustave Lorentz's Crémant d'Alsace Brut was born on the clay-limestone soils of Bergheim, Alsace. Hand-picked and carefully selected, the Chardonnay, Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco grapes, which make up the blend, undergo a soft pressing, followed by the first fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature. This is followed by the second fermentation in the bottle, according to the dictates of the champenois method. The aging period of at least 18 months on the lees follows. Clean and zesty, there's a lemon rind quality to the nose along with whiffs of red fruit. The palate is refreshing, balanced and has a big personality.
